Too often, we confuse Creativity with Conformity. After 20 years as the director of Access Gallery, Damon McLeese realized how few people consider themselves creative. He believes that we are all creative beings living in a society that rewards conformity. Damon rediscovered his creativity in his 50s and is on a mission to remind everyone that we are all creative. We just need to reconnect with what moves us. Damon may be one of the most creative people you ever meet but he admits that cannot draw a straight line. Damon uses his own story, experience, and research to re-define what Creative Aging is and, more importantly, what it could be.

Older adults have an additional advantage with our abundant experience, plus studies show that mature minds use both sides of the brain, opening up even more creative possibilities.
