SKILLED VOLUNTEERING

“Volunteering” really doesn’t encompass all you do. You become mentors and trusted advisors, a valued resource and a respected expert.

SKILLED VOLUNTEERING

“Volunteering” really doesn’t encompass all you do. You become mentors and trusted advisors, a valued resource and a respected expert.

Part of what makes us different from other organizations is the quality of training we provide in order to make your generosity most meaningful.

Boomers Leading Change volunteers work at more than 30 Metro Denver nonprofit organizations that provide a wide variety of services to diverse clients. We also work closely with our volunteers to ensure a successful match between your interests and the host site’s needs. But before you ever enter the doors of an organization to help, we provide you with 30 hours of expert-led Health Navigation training. You’ll leave fully confident and prepared with skills, knowledge and resources to use both in your service work and in your own life.

After training, volunteers spend 4-5 hours per week at host sites working to improve the lives of the individuals, families and communities they serve.

Since 2011, our Boomer participants  have contributed well over 100,000 hours and helped more than 36,000 people.  With your help, we can reach even more.
