Liz Ullman
Project Board Chair
Liz is president of ViCom, Inc, a strategic communications company handling public information, advertising and market research.
She began her career as the nation’s first full-time sports information director for women’s intercollegiate athletics with roles at Indiana University, The University of Iowa, and the University of Minnesota.
Thanks to her passionate advocacy on behalf of military men and women and veterans, she successfully lobbied for stories in 60 Minutes and The New York Times regarding controversial military recruitment tactics.

Ford Allison
Project Board Leader
Ford Allison is a health and human services leader with more than 24 years of providing services for individuals needing long term services and supports.
Currently he is MCO/MLTSS Policy Leader with Team Public Choices, LLC, in Denver.
Besides non-profit experience, his areas of expertise include Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS), managed care, Dual Eligibles, Medicare Advantage, Home & Community Based Services (HCBS), Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), project management, RFP proposal response, P&L management, and business development.

Ginger Maloney
Project Board Leader
Ginger’s career has bridged the fields of education, nonprofit management, and philanthropy.
She retired from the University of Denver as Dean Emerita of the Morgridge College of Education, where she also established and directed the Marsico Institute of Early Learning and Literacy.
She serves as as an independent consultant to nonprofit and philanthropic organizations and has served on numerous state-level committees and nonprofit boards focused on education and systems-building work in early childhood.
She also serves as a board member of the Colorado Health Foundation and the Isle Nathan Foundation.

Karen Newman
Project Board Leader
Karen is a past Professor and Dean of the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and was instrumental as early mission advisor for launching Boomers Leading Change.
Before serving with DU, she held leadership positions at Georgetown University and the University of Richmond.
Her expertise includes business ethics and international management, and she has published various articles on sustainable careers.
Most recently, she served as a Board member for Colorado Public Radio.

Barbara Yondorff
Project Board Leader
Barbara is president of Yondorf & Associates, a health policy consulting firm.
Her areas of expertise include health policy research and analysis, feasibility studies, strategic planning, facilitation, legislative drafting and analysis, and grant writing and review.
She is a Board member for the Mental Health Center of Denver, Center for African American Health, and Project Future Institute (K-12 education).
