Anti-Ageism Activist Applewhite in Denver

Boomers Leading Change is happy to partner in promoting a Book Tour by Author and Anti-Ageist Activist Ashton Applewhite, who will be in Denver for 5 separate book signings from March 8-10. (see schedule below) Applewhite likes to say: “People are happiest at the beginnings and the ends of their lives.”
Her book —This Chair Rocks— traces her journey from apprehensive Boomer to pro-aging radical, and debunks myths about late life. The book explains the roots of ageism—in history and in our own age denial.

Great New Opportunity with CCHI and Boomers!

Great New Opportunity with CCHI and Boomers!

Although most Coloradans now have health insurance coverage, many still struggle with high insurance premiums and unaffordable out-of-pocket costs.

CCHI launched the Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) to address the rise in the number of consumers who are facing unfair or unexpected medical bills or who have been sent to collections by a healthcare provider or carrier.

BLC and CCHI are looking for people to fill these new volunteer opportunities where you can play a critical role helping Coloradans achieve financial stability by empowering consumers as they navigate the often frustrating world of health care billing and claims This position, called the Health Insurance Consumer Assistance Volunteer, requires a 6-month commitment with an option to extend, working one or more 4-hour shifts per week.

If you’re as excited about this new position as we are, please contact Shannon Randall at Boomers Leading Change at:
